TOTEM POP is part 1 of a 3 part series with Region 16 Comprehensive Center's website rebrand. This piece was created to work as four stand-alone pieces or they can be tiled together depending on the website's need. Inspired by Tony Viramontes' artwork for Janet Jackson's "Control" album cover, I used forms found on totems in the Pacific Northwest and stylized them in a "pop art" way to invoke fun and energy.
